An annual tradition was lived out during the Friday Prayer Service on August 23. The 8th graders did a wonderful job of celebrating the life of St Rose of Lima, the first Saint of the Americas and the presentation was followed by "blue cards" and the participation announcements of Lexia and Mathletics.
In a spirit of good fun, OLG's most junior teacher (Dr. Harry Lines) modeled what is most definitely NOT the uniform, while two students demonstrated what is meant by "perfect" uniform both for Mass and for Physical Education on Tuesdays and Fridays.
It was a time of much laughter as the 8th grade girls also showed us all what is meant by "tasteful" make up vs "absolutely not" makeup.
