The OLG School family gathered for its monthly Sunday Eucharist on Sunday, March 9, at 9:00 a.m. Father Raphael, Pastor, acknowledged and expressed gratitude for the presence of school families as well as teachers and staff and welcomed the students who served as readers and ushers.
As part of the homily, Father Raphael invited all young persons in attendance to come up to get pencil and paper in order to write Lenten petitions that were offered to God along with the collection.
At the end of the liturgy, Father Raphael read out some of the petitions, many of which were quite powerful and included prayers for protection and prayers for healing.
Faith Families one and two hosted Coffee and Doughnuts in the courtyard following the celebrations.
